How can we bi-directional communicate with our customers if they are using DOORS 8.3 while we are on DOORS 9.3? Of course, we don't want to roll back to spreadsheet. Thank you.

Re: Communicate between DOORS 8 and 9 we have same problem. We work with DOORS 8 for customers using this version., and with DOORS 9 when we have not this requirement. I am sure that there is no standard solution. Perhaps some tools supplied others company. Pierre |
Re: Communicate between DOORS 8 and 9 PDU - Wed Dec 08 12:23:53 EST 2010 The only way I can think of getting round it, is a partial upgrade, whereby some projects are upgraded to 9.3 (where customers are on the same level) and the rest left on 8.1 until customers upgrade. You would end up with a more complicated setup but I think it would be OK, but am waiting until IBM advise. This sort of upgrade is in their documentation too |
